Background

Originally from Maryland, Heather studied Literature at Bennington College in Vermont. After college, she spent a decade living in Portland, Oregon, where she worked in bookstores and earned her paralegal certificate. She later returned to Baltimore and gained experience at both large corporate firms and a smaller medical malpractice firm before joining Warnken, LLC.

Building Relationships with her Clients

At Warnken, Heather’s typical day consists of communicating with clients and insurance companies, sending out letters of representation, and gathering/reviewing medical records. Heather enjoys building relationships with her clients and helping them through difficult times. Heather believes it’s important to be emphatic, especially with clients who are often dealing with hardship.

Outside the Office

Outside the office, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and 9-year-old son, watching Wes Anderson films, and reading Cold War spy novels. She loves to travel, with her favorite destinations including Prague and the Florida Keys.
