Jonathan Akchin (“Jonny”) is a trial attorney with Warnken, LLC. Personal injury cases go to Jonny once it’s clear that a fair settlement will not be reached, and the case must go to trial. Jonny brings the case to a jury and fights for each of his clients to receive the compensation they deserve.
Telling Every Client’s Story
Jonny knows that at the core of his cases are stories, and every client has one that needs to be told in full. He understands that each of his clients have experienced trauma, and lost something valuable, through no fault of their own. Jonny’s goal is to help them get what they need to restore that value in their lives.

When Jonny works with his clients he might ask tough questions, but it’s only because he doesn’t want to miss a single detail. Presenting the client’s best case to the jury requires the lawyer to know everything about the client’s case, the strengths and, especially, the weaknesses. Litigation is a form of warfare.
Every trial is a battle and investigating all the details of a case is what Jonny enjoys most about the trial level work. Every detail is crucial for him to be able to advocate for his clients and get them the results they deserve.
History
A Baltimore native and proud alumnus of Baltimore City College High School, Jonny came to Warnken after over a decade of public service in Baltimore County Government. Jonny was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2009 after graduating from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
