Background
Seyi was born in Nigeria but has lived in Maryland for most of his life. He graduated from Towson University in December 2024 and has been working in the legal field since 2023, starting as a part-time legal assistant while in college.
His ultimate goal is to become an attorney, and he views his current role as a personal injury paralegal as an essential step to learn the legal system from the ground up. Seyi is hardworking, curious, and always eager to grow. He sees every task as a chance to develop the skills and character he’ll need in his future career as an attorney.
Building a Case For His Clients
A typical day for Seyi includes requesting and reviewing medical records, organizing case files, corresponding with clients and insurance companies, and ensuring that records are complete and accurate. One of his favorite parts of the job is investigating evidence, like body cam footage, to help build a strong case for the client.
What stands out to Seyi about Warnken, LLC is the positive environment. He appreciates how much the learning process is based on observing how others work, and that there’s no judgment for making a mistake. He’s made it a priority to understand his team members’ workflow and is especially eager to gain more experience with the settlement phase of cases. In past roles, he was involved early in the case but not in the final stages. At Warnken, he’s excited to be part of the full process.
Outside the Office
Outside of the office, Seyi stays busy with many hobbies. He enjoys photography and videography, especially shooting music videos, and is currently learning special effects editing. He also plays basketball regularly and occasionally goes fishing or visits the gun range. When he has the time, he also enjoys crime shows like How To Get Away With Murder and The Blacklist.
