Criminal Charges in Stent Matter?
In recent weeks, attorney Byron L. Warnken has been asked by members of the media about possible criminal charges resulting from the St. Joseph, Dr. Mark Midei allegedly improper stent procedures. Though Warnken stated you can’t know about what will happen in a particular case, he did bring up the issue of paying a fine to get out of a crime.
“I’m going to want to make sure if I give you that amount of money, I want you to guarantee me you’re not going to prosecute me criminally. Here the answer was, no, we are not going to guarantee you that,” said [Warnken.]
